Donald Trump’s NFT collection is seemingly proving the meme power of the internet again. The collection is up from a mint price of $99, and is now trading at $800 per card. This is despite users online discovering that much of the collection’s art is apparently stolen from stock image sites.

Opensea recently released a toolset that creators can use to ensure that newly launched NFTs can't be traded on platforms that reject royalties. But after complaints from some Web3 builders, Opensea is once again changing its policies. In a tweet thread today, OpenSea revealed a number of tweaks to its own approach to NFT royalties, including the formation of the Creator Ownership Research Institute (CORI), a group that will oversee the curation of the list of Ethereummarketplaces blocked by what's known as the "Operator Filter" tool as well as policies related to its development.

Yuga Labs first filed the lawsuit in June against California-based artist Ryder Ripps and the founder of NFT marketplace Not Larva Labs, Jeremy Cahen, accusing them of copying and selling NFT collections and devaluing the original Bored Ape products. The District Court of Central California has now denied these motions. he would only agree to settle the case for a payout of at least $100 billion.
